Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee the organization’s compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, assess compliance risks, and ensure timely regulatory filings, disclosures, and corrective actions, act as the key liaison with regulators and authorities.
  • Lead compliance monitoring, internal audits, inspections, and investigations; strengthen internal controls, address non-compliances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Advise the Board and senior management on compliance matters; develop compliance culture through training and awareness programs; lead and mentor the compliance team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as Company Secretary (CS), CA, CMA, or LLB preferred.
  • 14–18 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management, including at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong exposure to applicable regulatory frameworks (Companies Act, SEBI / RBI / sector-specific regulations).
  • Proven experience in dealing with regulators, audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide compliance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, advisory, and stakeholder management experience.
